Yer mother 03:56
Send this to yer mother Tell her it comes from me Make sure you tell her I wrapped it up neatly She was right from the start When she said I was no good Risking the gallows for me In fact he'd do me a favour By getting rid of me So go tell yer brother Tell him to take it easy And as for all our friends They all took sides with you They'll hate me 'til the end And I deserve it true So what else could I do 'Xcept pack my stuff and go Where the heart won't feel that cold And I won't think of you Deprecation Reprobatio Self-loathing Self-mutilating They say Farewell is a cruel word But all the words that I have heard They sucked the warmth right out of me Leave me dead as a Christmas tree So while you smiled and played the harp I didn't see your teeth were sharp Once they were planted in my neck It was too late now I'm a wreck So go on, show off your despair Wearing your most appealing air You will fool everyone I know But for me it is time to go Life it sometimes takes strange turns One hand caresses the other burns Love it strange times has strange twists The left hand's open, the right is a clenched fist

The sheep's in the meadows, The kye's in the corn, (Thou's ower lang in thy bed) Bonny at morn The sheep's in the meadows, The kye's in the corn, (Thou's ower lang in thy bed) Bonny at morn Canny at night, Bonny at morn (Thou's ower lang in thy bed) Bonny at morn. The bird's in the nest, The trout's in the burn, Thou hinders thy mother In many a turn. The bird's in the nest, The trout's in the burn, Thou hinders thy mother In many a turn. Canny at night, Bonny at morn (Thou's ower lang in thy bed) Bonny at morn. We're all laid idle Wi' keeping the bairn The lad winnot work And the lass winnot learn, We're all laid idle Wi' keeping the bairn The lad winnot work And the lass winnot learn, Canny at night, Bonny at morn (Thou's ower lang in thy bed) Bonny at morn.

Electric 06:06
take a little walk out there listen to the streets after midnight take a little walk out there listen to the streets after sun dies you'll hear a temple burning, you'll feel the temperature rising, you'll hear the sirens wailing for you for you and only you when you take a little walk out there listen to the streets after midnight take a little walk out there listen to the streets after sun dies take a deep breath and dive in, it won't be long 'til you're king and little death is calling to you to you and only you take a little walk out there listen to the streets after midnight take a little walk out there listen to the streets after sun dies all around hang the colours, so tempting and you're so bored so what is wrong in taking it all? taking what's shown when you take a little walk out there listen to the streets in electric lights taking many walks out there you are claiming "i want what's mine" and as you're coming on top so suddenly you just drop just like the priest said when you were young don't you recall the sound everytime you take a little walk out there listen to the streets in electric lights take a little walk out there listen to the streets after sun dies

Stay awhile 03:35
The tea is steeped now why don't you sit down take your coat off stay a while How was your journey? I missed you dearly Tell me your story take your time Feel free to go Feel free to come home Anytime Oh how intriguing The sights you're seeing Well I hope you sleep So deep tonight And in the morning I'll brew dark coffee Would you like honey Or clover spice? Feel free to go Feel free to come home Anytime The tea is steeped now why don't you sit down take your coat off stay a while How was your journey? I missed you dearly Tell me your story But take your time Look out the window But before you do Be sure to wipe your shoes on the mat it's been so rainy the clouds are leaving but now the suns here but... gone so fast, gone so fast Feel free to go Feel free to come home Anytime

Every little thing that we have We try to keep it warm through the night We try to save the life That we see in the back of their eyes Every single things that really counts Is lost across the sea where sharks abound But if I find a shore I will build a lighthouse for the lost Every time the sun is lost again The cold of night it bites to the bones The shadows come alive And take away what is good, what is right But if you take my hand and show no fear We'll find a place where darkness disappears We'll walk the thorny trail And the ghosts who repine, they will fail

It is he 04:50
It is he to whom we raise our hands To whom we adress our fleeting prayers For whom we build temples he'll never visit For whom we turn our backs on our brothers When the fathers hurts his little one When the mother dies without a sound It is he who rejoices and laughs When the going it gets too rough He it is who numbs the crowds So the poor man dies to protect the rich one He it is who loves to face a child with cancer Who sends drunk militia men to terminate a girl's laughter He does not want our love He just wants us to crawl Yes, the poor will inherit the earth That is, when the rich are done with it The meek will be kings in heaven So they keep smiling while being raped down here And he says: "I do not want your love, I just want you to crawl And I will break your spine, so that you learn to bow I do not want your love, I just want you to crawl And I will break your neck, so your head hangs real low I tried to poison lve, but it didn't die It was worse than that: it became vicious I tried to poison pride, but it didn't die It was a lot worse than that, it became ambitious" Oh lord of all thy harvest will be done (ad lib)

I look at you You are a stranger to me I rub my eyes, but still cannot see My words, they cannot reach you Your words, they cannot pierce through And here we are Ducking and cowering in fear Fear of shadows of our own making Crouching in the darkest corner of the room Trapped and hunted by silhouettes Silhouettes of nightmares of our own making Wondering if one day we might find a way to be together Wandering Cowering Ducking

Do sit down, take of your coat I'll get you a drink for your thirsty throat Beer, red wine or something stronger? The we can talk about the weather Should the stars fall from the skies They won't disturb tonight Should the sun no longer shine We are having a good time What movies did you see of late? This restaurant you talked about, was it to your taste? Are you still seeing this girl? Do you still plan to travel round the world? Should the stars fall from the skies They can't separate tonight Should the earth split open wide We are having a good time We can talk for the next hours Mundane stuff, futile chatter But if silence suits you best My tongue will take a rest And if smoke gets in your eyes And you don't know how to try Well, your secret is safe

about

Now, what is it all about ? 12 songs (plus three bonus tracks if you buy the whole album) with nerve, guests (Cécile Gonay aka Seesayle, Jean-François Durdu of Ceilí Moss and Camping Sauvach), a cover (straight from Montana courtesy of Pterodactyl Plains), an attempt to mix Spacemen 3 and Swans ( ?), poppy folk, experimental moments, an eyewink to my years as a Celtic musician, a song dedicated to the true friends, that is to say unless you think the history of music started with Lady Gaga, there’s got to be something to your taste on Full Moon Fever ! (see how I pitched the thing, now if this doesn’t break through, then the world doesn’t deserve me! ;)
